RAY-CUPP, Cornelia “Connie” – Of Flint, age 88, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at The Oaks at Woodfield.
Funeral service will be held at 12pm Monday, October 28, 2013 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice.
Visitation 3-6pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Connie was born in Black Oak, Arkansas on January 16, 1925, the daughter of the late Howard and Julia Brooks. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Connie retired from Genesee Bank after 30 years of service.
Surviving are son, Gary Ken George of South Branch;
daughter, Deborah and husband Larry Strawser of Laurel, Maryland;
5 grandchildren, Sean and wife Meaghan George of Fenton, Brandy Piechowski of Swartz Creek, Todd and wife Jessica Strawser of Monument, CO, Brad and wife Abbi Strawser of Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA, and Meredith and husband Justin Pederson of Highlands Ranch, CO;
15 great-grandchildren;
3 sisters and her brother, Geneva Blassingame, Janet and husband Amos Ponder, Margie and husband Don Brady, Larry and wife, Joy Brooks;
numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her husbands, Langdon George, Vernon Ray and Cloyce Cupp, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
