PRICE, Virginia Lee - Age 82, Flushing, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice.
Virginia was born October 7, 1937 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of John and Gladys (Simpson) Hyslop. She married Ty Price October 20, 1956 in Detroit and he preceded her in death December 15, 2008. She retired from MacDermid, Inc. after 30 years of service. Virginia was an avid reader. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are: her daughters, Lynn Hayward of Vassar, Brenda Price of White Lake, and Susan (Steven) Trantham of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff) Sharp of Swartz Creek, Jamie (Kevin) Raymond of Vassar, Janine (Isaac) Zager of Waterford, and Tom Matako (Briana Ulrich) of Grand Rapids; great grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, Anthony, Ryan, Jacob, Joseph, Owen, and Mason; brother, Kenneth Starr (Judy Busha) of Pearl Beach; sister-in-law, Linda Hyslop of St. Clair Shores; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Spencer Trantham; son-in-law, Rich Hayward; and brother, David Hyslop. |
