Jessica Lynn Wenzlick-Coleman
Age 37 of Burien, Washington, formerly of New Lothrop, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 21, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel on Thursday, June 20 from 2:00 to 8:00pm with a Remembrance service at 7:00pm. Visitiation will also be held at the church on Friday from 10:00am until the service.
Jessica was born on July 13, 1981 to LaVearn and Barbara (Beebe) Wenzlick in Owosso. She graduated from New Lothrop High School in 1999. Jessica worked as a hospitality specialist for Classic Catering.
In 2009, she met Eric Woods. In 2010, they headed for a new adventure in Seattle, Washington. They made a home with their two dogs She-Ra and Cooper, who were very dear to her. They dreamed of opening a restaurant together. Anyone who met Jessica “Loved Her”.
During her life, Jessica enjoyed many hours of cross stitching, picture taking, scrapbooking, and gift-giving. She was a great statistician, from her days as a high school wrestlerette to fantasy football. She knew her stats. Her family, especially her nieces and nephews, were very dear to her. Anyone who walked into her home could see by the pictures covering her walls and shelves of scrapbooks.
Jessica is survived by her partner, Eric Woods; her parents, LaVearn and Barbara Wenzlick; her siblings, Lindsey Wenzlick (Axel), Bruce (Marque) Wenzlick, and Krystal (Jared) Rugg; her nieces and nephews, Ava, Hunter, Logan Wenzlick, Kade, Toby, Lillian, Alexis, Grant and Eliza Goodrich, and Hudson and Bennett Woods; and her aunts and uncles, Juliann (Garry) Dowen, Diane (Gary) Gossett, Ben Wenzlick, Christine Wenzlick, Don (Brenda) Wenzlick, Brian Wenzlick, Karen Eicholt, Doug (Nell) Beebe, and Bev (Ken) Adelberg.Eric’s Parents, Roland and Linda Woods.Eric’s siblings, Sabra (Derek) Goodrich, Rebekah Woods (Scott Pethers), Matthew (Alexis) Woods and many cousins.
She is predeceased by her grandparents and her aunt and uncles, Marlene Wenzlick, Art Wenzlick, and Fred Wenzlick.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the family, The Michigan Parkinson Foundation in memory of her grandparents, or The Humane Society.
