GODLESKY, Anthony Joseph -- Age 83, of Flushing, died December 26, 2012 at McLaren, Flint. Funeral Mass will be celebrated with Fr. Douglas Osborn at 11 AM Saturday, December 29 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint. Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 1-8 Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a K of C Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM Friday with a 4th Degree Chalice Service immediately following; visitation will also be 10 AM until the time of mass at the church on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to St Jude Children's Hospital or Powers Catholic High School.

Anthony was born in Flint on August 25, 1929 the son of Anthony and Rose (Pancheck) Godlesky. He attended All Saints School, graduating in 1946. He served in the U. S. Army from 1951 to 1953. Anthony was married to June Marilyn Wiles on April 25, 1953 and they celebrated their lives together for over 59 incredible years. He was employed by Chevrolet retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and a 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He and June love to travel, both abroad and in the states spending many winter months in Siesta Key, Fl. His favorite pastime was attending his children's and later his grandchildren's events. He was always present, cheering for and supporting those he loved so dearly and was so proud of.

Surviving are: beloved wife June; son Michael (Valarie) Godlesky; daughters, Karen(Dennis) Lazar, Kathy(Brian) Stuk, Kimberly Doyle and Marybeth(Joseph) Snell; grandchildren, Brian, Nicholas (Jacqueline), and Lauren Godlesky, Daniel, Jennifer and Dennis Lazar, Adam(Megan) and Jill Kimosh, Jacob and Jason Doyle, Riley and Joslyn Snell; great-grandsons, Blair Godlesky, Aiden and Mason Kimosh and; sister Patricia White. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rose; daughter, Jill Marie; sisters, Stella Polk, Geneive Wisniewski, Mary Ann Hallwood, and Lucille Ward.
