WITTUM, Sharon L. - Of Davison, age 77, died Thursday, May 12, 2016
at Medilodge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Dan Louman officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Sharon was born on February 8, 1939 the daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria (Weber) Schlothauer.
On August 17, 1957 she married Raymond Wittum. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2014.
She served with her sisters and brothers in Christ at Heritage Baptist Church, where she played the organ.
Sharon worked at Sears and retired from A & P Food stores in Clio and Flushing. She then worked at Old Orchard Park in Davison.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, crafts, music, and especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Terri (Ron) Stauffer of Auburn Hills, MI, daughter Laurie (Roger) Baywol of Grand Blanc, MI;
granddaughters Shannon, Megan, Rachel, Lauren, and Lindsay, and great-grandchildren Avery, Aidan and Adalynn;
sister, Dolores (Sam) Griswold.
Sharon was also preceded in death by sister, Gloria Vaughn; three nephews and one niece.
