ROTHLEY, Thomas L. - Of Flint Township, age 23, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Monday, March 14, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Catholic charities or the American Cancer Society. Visitation 1-3 and 5-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West hill Road. A Scripture Service will be held 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Thomas was born in Flint on March 5, 1988, the son of Joseph and Tracy (Deacons) Rothley. He graduated from Carmen Ainsworth High School in 2006 and loved playing hockey. Surviving are sister, Kelli;
Nieces, Jade and Jayla; Grandparents, Jim and Connie Rothley and LaVern and Lauretta (Nichols) Deacons; Many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Tracy Rothley, great-grandparents, William and Bertha Owen, James and Vesta Rothley.
