BERRY, Dorothy M. of Flushing, age 86, died Friday, June 14, 2019 at Angel Manor. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Rossell Funeral Home with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Cliff Bira will officiate.
Dorothy was born on February 16, 1933 to Ira and Marie (Brieler) Chamberlain. She graduated from Flushing High School in 1951 and worked as an inspector for General Motors. She married Colon O. Berry on February 28, 1953 in Owosso, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 2009. She was a talented baker, loved to cook, and enjoyed gardening.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Colon (Toni) Berry; stepson, Gary L. Berry; grandson, Ryan Berry; siblings, Irene Clawson and Ira “Hully” (Joyce) Chamberlain; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon; and siblings, Jeff Chamberlain, Don Chamberlain, Fred Chamberlain, and Donna Jean Bueche. |
