TURNER, Ruth A. – of Clio, age 75, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Brother Dave Robinson officiating. Burial to follow in Tanner Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Clio on Thursday from 10AM until time of services at 2PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Ruth was born August 23, 1939 in Frankenmuth to the late LaRoy and Roseanna (Nichols) Burns. She lived in Clio the past 7 years. She retired from Sears Credit Central with 10 years seniority. Ruth enjoyed bingo, nature, gardening, animals, crocheting, fishing and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Deborah (Jerry) Smith of Clio, Gary (Debbie) Bailey of Montrose, Deanna (Rick) DeLaCruz of Birch Run, William (Shawn) Turner of Mt. Morris; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; siblings, Jacqueline Pelch of Mt. Morris, Robert (Geri) Burns of Sand Lake, Elaine Smith of Durand; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: siblings, Gladys Basner, Alberta Schwalm, Dolores Hipkins, Glennie and Richard Burns.
