FOUST, Raymond A. - Of Grand Blanc formerly of Goodrich and Pontiac, age 96, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at home with his family present.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 2pm Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Raymond was born in Harviell, Missouri on April 17, 1922, the son of the late Adam and Addie (Dicken) Foust. On September 18, 1982 he married Lucy Rathbun at Harvest Temple Church of God in Burton. Raymond had his own business, Ray’s Painting and Decorating. He was also employed with General Motors for 30 years.
Surviving are wife, Lucy;
step-children, Michael (Brenda) Rathbun, Janine (Dr. Michael) Wheat, Mark (Toni) Rathbun, Rebecca (Darin) Bolinger;
grandchildren Andrea (Chris), Paul (Sonya), Jonathan (Kira), Laura (Steve), Michaela, Joshua, Jacob, Kameron (Kayla), Brittani, Isaac (Alexandria), Rachael (Matthew), Thomas, Robin (Buddy), Jerry Lee, and Jeff;
16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild;
brothers, Howard (Mabel), Ed (Jewel) Ron (Teri);
and sister Ramona.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna, son Jerry, daughter Anita and 1 grandson.
