HYATT, Lillie (Pittman) – of Flint, age 98, went to dance along the streets of gold on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. A Graveside Service will be held 3:30 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Rd., Flint. A Memorial Service will be held 3:30 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Bethel Assembly of God, 6029 Lapeer Rd., Burton, Pastor Joe Lindsay officiating.
Lillie was born in Roaring Creek, NC on April 25, 1915, daughter of the late Champ and Dalia (McKinney) Pittman.
Lillie is survived by her children, Barbara Hollifield, Delores Pendley, Linda (Jack) Dillingham, Geraldine Roy and Robin (Skip) Greenman; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother to many other children throughout her life, but especially to grandsons, Bill and Bob Hyatt. Lillie was preceded in death by husband, William C. Hyatt; children, Richard Wyatt, Helen Wyatt, Patricia Wyatt, William Hyatt and Robert Hyatt. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the caregivers at Genesys Convalescent Center in Grand Blanc for their loving and gentle care.
