Ronald Coventry was born January 10, 1939, in Pontiac, MI. He met and married Virginia, the peach of his life, on May 7, 1960. They were married 59 years. The two of them were blessed with five children. Rhonda Coventry of Royal Oak, Sharon (Steve) Groat of Brown City, Karon (Bruce) Smith of Carmel, IN, Suzanne (Larry) Alward of Kalamazoo, and Michael (Susan) Coventry of Clarkston. All are saved and serving Christ. Ronald has twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is survived by one brother Hugh (Sue) Coventry of Auburn Hills. He passed away on May 6, 2019. A memorial will be held on Saturday, May 11, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint, MI, 48506. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kidney Transplant Unit at the University of Michigan Hospital or the Food Pantry at Emmanuel Baptist Church. |
