Theresa R. Borowiak, 87, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Barney and Rose Piechowski. Theresa married Raymond Borowiak May 20, 1950. After graduating from high school, she attended LPN nursing school which she retired from after 30 years. Theresa was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She loved to play euchre and play bingo. Theresa was very active member of the Senior Center in Genesee Township.
Theresa is survived by 3 Daughters: Suzanne (Thomas) Weir, Christine (Richard) Ketrow and Stephanie (Thomas) Poe. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren: Matt Ketrow, Beth Ketrow, Megan Weir, Alexis Weir, Alyssa Poe and Austin Poe. Theresa if survived by 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond and Dane Weir.
According to Theresa’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass celebrating Theresa’s life is planned for Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Mary”s Catholic Church on Franklin St in Flint, Michigan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home – Standish Chapel, Standish, Michigan.
