SAGE, Larry Gordon – of Chesaning, age 76, died Monday, May 7, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan with his family by his side. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Rhyan Glezman officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Community Church of God.
Larry was born June 21, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to the late Gordon and Hattie (Towne) Sage. He grew up in the Flint area and attended Montrose High School. He served his country in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. On July 29, 1961 he married Judith Ann Boone. Larry worked for GM as a Tool and Die maker for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the Community Church of God and the UAW Local 326. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and motorcycling.
Surviving are: Wife of 56 years Judith; Children, Randolph Sage, Cynthia (Philip) Sage-Khoury; Grandchildren, Joseph (Stephen) Redman-Sage, Chelsea (Alex) Sage-Germain, Zachuriah Sage, Kyle Khoury; Siblings, Bruce (Judy) Sage, Michael Sage, Valerie (Mark) Sage-Theil, Vanessa (Edwin) Patterson, Victoria (Ken) Tosi, several nieces and nephews, and his dog, Bailey.
