Campbell, Mary Jane of Flushing, age 77, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Gordon Reigle will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the Mass. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Mary Jane was born in Lake Linden, Michigan on January 23, 1938, the daughter of Arthur and Rita (Pellerin) Venne. She married William Campbell on June 24, 1978. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2014. Mary Jane retired from the Social Security Administration after many years. Together with her husband, she enjoyed spending winters at Club Naples in Florida where they had many wonderful friends. Mary Jane was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, gardening and cooking. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every opportunity she had to spend with them and enjoyed being active in their lives.
Mary Jane is survived by her children; Michele (John Brown) Griffin, Marcia (Scott Phillips) Christopher, Mark and wife Missy Catanzaro, Matt Catanzaro, Bob Campbell, Andy Campbell, Tom and wife Nancy Campbell; 10 grandchildren, Eric (Lindsay), Mackenzie (Jesse), Ashley (Josh), Morgan (Corey), Mark, Sydney, Jake, Dylan, Madeline, Nate; five great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Jesse, Sophia, Romeo, Henry; brothers-in-law, Lew and wife Karen Campbell, Frank and wife Sharon Campbell, Wayne and wife Pat Campbell, Dale and wife Kim Capmbell; sister, Mary and husband Mike Fournier; special friend and sister-in-law, Rosie Pryblyski; many special nieces and nephews.
