MORRISON, John Lewis, Sr. – of Burton, MI, age 77, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Janine L. Plum officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
John was born in Whittemore, MI on September 7, 1941, son of the late LeRoy and Florence (Brink) Morrison, Sr. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1964 – 1966. John retired from Buick City Plant 41 on March 1, 1993.
John leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Kathy Morrison; son, John Morrison, Jr.; daughter, Christina (Bobby) Fowler; granddaughters, Arianna, Paige and Raelynne; brother, Ronald Lee (Donna) Morrison of Flint; various nieces, nephews and cousins.
