Thompson, Paul E. of Flushing, age 63, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Rossell Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Paul was born in Flint, Michigan on October 11, 2016, the son of David and Shirley (Kleet) Thompson. He married Anne Roach on December 3, 1976, in Flint. Paul retired from General Motors after 30 years and was a member of UAW Local 659. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed, hunting, fishing and camping. Paul also enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Angie and husband Jim Hawkins; grandchildren, Paige, Raelyn, Morgan, Shane; father-in-law, Thomas Roach; beloved little buddy, Charlie dog. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Bailey Kaye; mother-in-law, Patricia Roach. |
