Weston, Elfleda “Evelyn” – age 98, of Flint, MI, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Gross Assisted Living. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Mark Pretznow officiating. Burial will follow the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Senior Center.
Evelyn was born May 26, 1921 in Flint, MI, daughter of the late William R. and Georgina (Reynolds) Campbell. She was married to the late Wilber F. Weston for 55 years. Evelyn enjoyed Bingo at Eastside Senior Center, reading, crocheting and Sunday dinners with her family.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Barbara (Gary) Shock, Sharon Mailhot, Kenneth (Linda) Weston and Gary (Jill) Weston; grandchildren, Brian, Kimberlee, Kevin, Tracy, Annikki, Andrew, Scott, Kelly and Cari; great-grandchildren, Tevin, Joseph, Carson, Logan, Chase, Peyton, Owen, Sloan and Asa. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Rodvie and Howard Campbell; sisters, Kathleen Fourney and Helen Still. The family would like to thank the people at Gross Assisted Living of Clio and Kindred Hospice for the wonderful care of their mother.
