WILLIAMS, Bruce Lee – of Clio, age 69, died Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
Bruce was born October 29, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to Stanley and Helen (Blake) Williams. He grew up in Flint Michigan and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1966. He also graduated from Mott Community College with an Associate’s Degree. Bruce served his country in the US Marines from 1966 to 1970 where he attained the rank of Sargent. On July 29, 1972 he married Carol Ann Favil in Flint, Michigan. He has resided in the Clio area for the past 41 years. Prior to his retirement in 2015, he worked for Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc as a Locksmith for 43 years. Bruce enjoyed photography, movies, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Wife, Carol Ann (Favil) Williams; Son, Jeremy (Rojeanna) Williams; Grandchildren, Nathan Sparrow, Alyssa Sparrow, Leyna Williams, Brayden Williams; Mother, Helen Williams; Sister, Susan (Bill) Shorey. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley; Grandparents, Archie and Fern Williams, Chester and Marguerite Blake.
