FERRIER, William R. II - Of Flint, age 56, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 hauling cars, a true testament to his work ethic.
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and 4-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to “Debbie’s Dialysis” a motorcycle cruise for patients on dialysis.
William was born in Flint on May 19, 1960, the son of William and the late Mary (Mader) Ferrier. On December 13, 1980, he married Kima Lee Dye in Linden. William “Spanky” worked for URS and has been a car hauler for over 30 years. He loved his motorcycles, fishing and hunting.
Surviving are wife, Kima;
children, Kristin (Nick) Horvath and Dustin (Amber) Ferrier, Kaiya Dye;
Together with his wife they raised over 105 foster children;
3 grandchildren, Chase, Kruse and Miles;
father, William;
2 brothers, Adam (Barb) and Gary (Robin);
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.
