WRIGHT, Dorothy J. (Dot) – age 83, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Dorothy at 10 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Fr. Bill Wegher officiating. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home, Clio Chapel on Friday, October 12, 2017 from 1-8 PM. A rosary will be held on Friday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
Dorothy was born October 6, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Elmer and Lucille (Brademus) Krupp. She attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan and was a graduate of Hurley School of Nursing in 1955. Dorothy worked as a nurse in many local hospitals until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Dot enjoyed Bingo, Reading, and watching her favorite shows, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. Most importantly she loved being surrounded by her family.
Surviving are: Children, Cindy (Shawn) Lemiex-Potter, Theresa (David) Slinkard, Jeff (Misty) Lemieux; Grandchildren: Tiffany (Marcus) Lemieux-McKissic, Brandon (Katie) Potter, Danielle Lemieux-Potter, Travis Potter, Kenzi Lemieux-Potter; Great Grandchildren: Aurora, Xaiver, Aria; Sister: Dee Bennett Georgen. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Pat Wright in 2014; Great Granddaughter: Maya; Her Parents; Sisters: Marge, Isabelle, Rosemary, Genevieve.
