CRAINE, Shirley M. (Morgan) – of Burton, age 85, passed away January 9, 2017 at Genesee Care Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Thursday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Purple Heart Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
Shirley was born in Genesee Twp., MI on July 16, 1931, daughter of the late Abner and Lorraine (Mullen) Morgan. She married Duane “Whitey” Craine and he preceded her in death in 2005. Shirley retired from AC Spark Plug in 1985. She enjoyed attending Guild at church, bowling, summers in Elk Rapids but most of all, spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her children, Mike (Kim) of Columbiaville, Mark (Elizabeth) of Columbiaville, Matthew of Flint and Mitchell of Linden; grandchildren, Aaron (fiancé, Heather), Darin, Ryan (Heather), Brett (Alicia), Jamie (Ryan) Wilson, Nathan, Jason and Roslyn; great-grandchildren, Ellory, Rylin, Hannah, Kaydence and Kennedy. She was preceded in death by siblings, Jean Higham, Patricia Johnson and Bob Morgan.
