SMITH, Juanita (Carr) - Of Flint, age 87, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 3:30 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Ron Nuckles officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 2pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral.
Mrs. Smith was born in Kayford, West Virginia on February 16, 1925, the daughter of Ervin Carr and Hannah Farrell, and was a resident of Flint since 1962. She married Frank Smith, Jr. on August 6, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a member of El Said Court #28, Ladies of the Oriental Shrine since 1970, and a member of the El Said Reckettes.
Surviving are husband, Frank Smith, Jr.;
3 children, Jerry and Alice Smith, Sherry and husband Ted Bowen, Gary Smith and Ann;
5 grand-children, Angela Heitikko, Melissa Edson-Riopelle, Kristen Edson, Brooke Smith and Jason Smith;
several nieces and nephews.
