SANBORN, Judy Marie - Age 74, of Fenton, died Monday, September 24, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor David Rossow officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Judy was born September 19, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Ward and Loretta Mary (Metivier) Vestal. She was a 1961 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. She retired from Walli's Supper Club and had been employed by VG's Grocery as the Head Baker. She also had her own business making wedding cakes. Judy had resided in the Flint area her entire life. She was a member of New Life Lutheran Church in Swartz Creek. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Surviving are: her son, Eddy Sanborn of Florida; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Emily Carroll of Fenton, Jill Price of Reno, NV, and Beth Wright of Reno, NV; brother, James Vestal of Swartz Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Marie Sanborn; and sister, Jane Peters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
