HUSS, Gary - of Montrose, age 77, died peacefully Friday, May 3, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time.
Gary was born January 30, 1947, in Flint, to the late Elvin and Viola (Kozminski) Huss. He honorably served in the United States Army overseas during the Vietnam War, Gary was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran and proudly retired as a welder from General Motors after 30 plus years. On May 27, 1978, he married the love of his life, Susan Schmitzer, and together they shared 46 years of marriage. Gary was a hardworking man who enjoyed keeping himself busy with odd jobs, tending to his lawn, and he absolutely loved spending time with family. He will be dearly missed.
Gary is forever remembered by his beloved wife, Susan Huss; Children: Melissa Huss and Stephen (Mandi) Huss; Grandson, Fletcher Huss; Many siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
