Age 55, of Clio, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, September 2, 2019. Funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio. The family will receive friends at Fellowship Baptist Church 14046 N. Saginaw Road Clio, on Friday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the church.
Linda was born December 30, 1963, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Wanda (Brock) Colden. Educated locally, she graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School and would go on to earn a bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan-Flint. She worked in supply chain management, as a contract employee in the automotive industry serving GM.
God, family, and faith were most important to Linda. She was an active and devoted member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling, shopping, and celebrating holidays and family gatherings.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jordan Hetzer; mother, Wanda Lewis; sisters, Robin and husband, Rusty Banner, and Tonia Labadie and husband, Mel Lomax; nephews and nieces; Brandon and Zachary Banner, Kevin and Jessica Labadie, and Alex and wife, Racquel Labadie, great-nephews and great-niece: Brandon and Brennen Banner, and Connor and Vivie Labadie, her love, Mark Bard; step-son, Jason Hetzer; step-daughter, Jamie Hetzer; grandchildren: Katie, Kaylee, Justin, Emilee, Jasmine, and Nevaeh.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, William Colden; stepfather, Bill Lewis; grandparents; George and Dorothy Brock, and William and Clara Colden.
