SHELSON, Mary Louise – of Davison, age 79, passed away September 19, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Daryl Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Mary was born in Gardnersville, KY on March 18, 1937, daughter of the late Ted and Mary (McKinney) Spegal. Mary Spegal and George Shelson were united in marriage on October 3, 1964. She enjoyed reading, watching Westerns and the sounds of nature.
Mary is survived by her husband, George; children, Melody Jane McDonald, Lisa Ann (Wayne) Stowell and William (Diane) Veach; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Edna Cummins, David (Debbie) Spegal, Wade (Shannon) Spegal and Brad Spegal.
