ANDERSON, Sally Jo – Of Flushing, age 53, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Gene Smith officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to set up a Memorial Fund for Montrose Schools in memory of Sally.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Flint, Michigan on October 7, 1958, the daughter of Clark and Edith (Coulter) Perkins. She married David Anderson on January 26, 1990 at Bethany Methodist Church in Clio. Mrs. Anderson was dedicated to her family and Montrose Community Schools-At Risk Programs. Surviving are husband David; children, Paul, Steffanie and Joseph; father, Clark Perkins; sister, Sandra and husband John Lamb; brother, Clark R. and wife Debbie Perkins; two sisters-in-law, Janie and husband Mark Thoms, Amy and husband Ron Mitchell; nieces, Laura Perkins, Kirstie Brokaw, Katie Brokaw, Hannah Thoms and Cassie Thoms; nephews, Randy Perkins, Scott Perkins, Joe Brokaw, John Lamb Jr., Dillon Lamb, Austin Lamb and Carter Lamb. She was preceded in death by mom, Edith; mother-in-law, Sandy Anderson; father-in-law, Ron Anderson and brother, Brian Perkins.
