Matheson, Dr. Barry M. “Doc” Of Flushing, age 68, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 19, 2020, at McLaren-Flint. A private memorial service will take place. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Flushing Area Community Fund “Rotary Club” or Hurley Children’s Miracle Network.
Barry was born on August 17, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Leo and Marcella (Chaulklin). Doc practiced as a Chiropractor at Matheson Chiropractic Clinic since 1976, creating a unique and special connection with all his patients. His passion was being the Powers Catholic “hockey doc” as well as a Rotarian for over 30 years.
Doc is survived by his significant other, Carol George; sons, Michael (Jamie), Bryan; granddaughter, Gina Rose; sister, Pam Biggs; brothers, Ron (Laura), Denny (Lori); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bob and Larry. |
