O’NEILL, Trooper Timothy – of Rockford, MI, age 28, passed away September 20, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills, 3655 Squirrel Rd., Auburn Hills, MI; Chaplain Chad Brown officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan State Police Trooper Association.
Timothy was born in Royal Oak, MI on November 11, 1988, son of Michael and Kristine (Maeder) O’Neill. He was a 2007 graduate of Lapeer East High School and graduated from Western Michigan University. Timothy was part of the 126th Trooper Recruit School and joined the Michigan State Police in 2014. He loved animals, had a great sense of humor and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making them laugh.
Timothy is survived by his fiancée, Carli Hicks; parents, Kristine and Michael O’Neill; sister, Sara O’Neill; twin brother, Brian O’Neill; grandfather, Bob Maeder; grandmother, Mary O’Neill; several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard O’Neill; grandmother, Virginia Maeder; uncle, Timothy O’Neill.
