GOUDY, Wilbur – Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Davison and Casa Grande, Arizona, age 91, died Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. The family requests all visitors please wear a mask.
Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday and 12 Noon Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Wilbur was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on January 12, 1929 the son of the late Curtis and Gladys Goudy. In October of 1955, he married Bobbie Moore in Flint and she preceded him in death in 1975. Wilbur was employed with General Motors for 38 years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling and was a devoted family man.
Surviving are daughters, Judy Howell, Steffeny Linn;
step-children, Cheryl (Steven) Adams, Brad (Melissa) Blackmer, and Barbie (Scott) Elliott;
grandchildren, James Knack, Chris (Sarah) Howell, Andrea Howell, and Amanda Linn;
many step-grandchildren;
and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by companion of 32 years, Barbara Blackmer, who passed in 2014, siblings, Kenny Goudy, Evelyn VanCleave, Don Goudy, Beverly Mullins and Larry Goudy.
