COLEMAN, Donald Lee – Of Flint, formerly of Prescott, MI, age
66, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Ernest Davis officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Mohawk, West Virginia on June 19, 1947, son of the late Roy and Ellen(Rife) Coleman.
On March 11, 1967 he married Barbara Ostrander in West Branch.
He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and loved sports.
Mr. Coleman retired from GM.
Surviving are wife, Barb;
children, Ellen Curtis, Connie and husband Cecil Ward, Alina and husband Terry Semeniuk, Donnie and wife Beth Coleman;
grandchildren, Timmy, Allisyn, Jacob, Brett, Kaylie, Emilee, Jayde, Christian and Zoey;
great-grandson, Masen;
sisters, Janet Church, Linda and husband Mike Carpenter and Carole Coleman;
brothers, Junior and wife Wilma Coleman, Danny Coleman, Dent and wife Dawn Hurley;
many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Roy; sister, Penny Pearson and nephew, Michael Pearson.
