LIVINGSTON, Michael J. – of Genesee, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 54, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Dean Meadows officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2PM until 7PM and on Thursday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to Abate Region 20 (Biking 4 Burns).
Michael was born on September 7, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Montrose, Michigan by Harsen and Fay (Benner) Livingston. He married Candy Gore on May 13, 2000 in the mountains of Arizona. Michael retired from General Motors in 2007 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycling, attending his sons football sporting events and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: wife, Candy Livingston; children, Michael Livingston II, Aaron (Ashley) Livingston, Timothy (Mandy) Livingston, Matthew (Kayla) Livingston, Michael Carsten; Step-daughter, Harmony (Eric) Conley; grandchildren, MaKayla, Caleb, Mileah, Elijah, Evan, Aubrey, Landon, Blake and another grandchild due in May; step-grandchildren, Trevor, Drewe; Mother, Fay Livingston; Sisters, Tina Traver, Georgina Livingston; mother of his children, Darlene Livingston; nephews, Ronald III, Nicholas and Zachary Traver. Michael was preceded in death by: his father, Harsen Livingston; brother in law, Ronald Traver II; grandchild, Cameron Livingston.
