Patricia "Pat" Ann Goward
Age 75 of Brant passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel. The family will receive friends that day from 1:00pm until the time of service.
Pat was born on February 22, 1941 to Russell F. and Marion E. (March) Treloar in Flint. She married David G. Goward on April 11, 1998 in St. Charles; they celebrated 19 years of marriage this past April.
Pat worked for GM for 30 years before retiring. She was a very social person. She loved going to casinos, especially in Las Vegas; she loved traveling and spending time in Frankfort; and she was an avid shopper who was frequently on eBay. Above all, Patricia loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her husband, David; her children, Lori (Ron) Wright, Lisa (Jim) Hixenbaugh, and Scott Koplen; her grandchildren, Jenifer (Doug) Carver, Kristi Tange, Shawn Hall, Wayne Clark, Alyssa Koplen, David S. Goward, and Amber Koplen; her 5 great-grandchildren, Douglas Carver, Alexia Carver, William Tange, Shawn Hall Jr., and Shaye Hall; and her sister, Bev Thayer.
She is predeceased by her son, Jimmy Broad; her parents; and her 2 brothers.
