ROTHLEY, James Logan “Jim” - Of Flint, age 82, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, September 24, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI.

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Scripture Service will be held 7pm Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Jim was born in Holcomb, Missouri on February 16, 1936, the son of the late James and Vesta (Wright) Rothley. Jim served in the National Guard for 8 years. He retired from General Motors in 1987. Jim was a devoted family man and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, golfing and spending time with his beloved pets.
Surviving are wife, Constance;
children, James Jr., Patricia (Ronald) Kucinsky, John (Sheila), Jeffrey, Susan (Mark) Papke and Kathleen (Curtis) Russell;
son-in-law, Alexander Karayanis;
16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Jacqueline Corbin and Janie Rothley;
He was preceded in death by daughter, Theresa, son, Joseph, grandsons, Thomas and Matthew and great-granddaughter, Isabella.
