CREAMER, Doris Joy – of Clio, age 83, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Netell officiating. Burial to follow in Montrose Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1-8PM and on Saturday from 10AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the family. Joy was born December 2, 1931 in Flint to the late Charles and Pearl (Rockwell) Rosa and lived in the Montrose area since 1950. She was united in marriage to William H. Creamer Jr. on October 21, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2010. Mrs. Creamer served as Montrose Township Clerk for 4 years and volunteered at Bingo at several locations. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, going to the casino and bowling. Most of all, Joy loved to cook, especially Sunday dinners for her family. Surviving are: 4 children: Billy Ray (Bonnie) Creamer of Montrose, Sandy (Roger) Bogard of Lennon, Linda (Eugene) Stevens of Flushing, Scott (Kim) Creamer of Montrose; canine companion Sammy; 8 grandchildren: Tina (Donnie), Chet (Amy), Cheryl (Ray), Roger II, Jeff, Troy, Allison and Kayla; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; twin sister, Delores Joyce Ptaszenski of Flint; sisters-in-law: Ethel Rosa and Shirley Cicalo; brother in law, Howard Businski; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: brothers and sisters: Junior, Jack, Pauline, Lorraine, Betty and Jean.
