John Michael Kowalski, age 72 of Mayville, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
He was born June 2, 1947 to Joseph and Stella (Bartusik) in Detroit, MI.
John was a graduate of Mayville High School. He loved working on his farm and hunting.
He is survived by his sisters, Rose Ann Laskowski and Maryann Rahn; niece, Dawn Laskowski; nephews, Patrick (Shannon) Laskowski and Martin (Carrie Boots) Laskowski; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Henry Laskowski and Stephen Rahn.
The family will receive visitors from 3-8 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home 6028 Lincoln St. Mayville, MI and 11 AM until time of the service on Monday, October 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 PM Monday, October 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 315 W Ohmer Rd. Mayville, MI 48744 with Father Jerzy Dobosz officiating.
Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Caro, MI.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
