LEWIS, Robert Lee, affectionately known as Bob, of Genesee Township, age 60, died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 27, 1958, the son of Donald Rokowski and Irene Artt.
On December 1, 1990 he married Cathie Judkins at Westside Church of God.
He was an All American hockey player at Flushing High School, where he graduated in 1977; was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame at Flushing High School 2018. He was also on the Power Boat Squadron.
Bob loved his diet coke, was an avid power boat enthusiast, enjoyed baseball and snowmobiling. Above all he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed sporting events with his daughters.
Surviving are wife, Cathie;
daughters, Adriana “Kiddo”, Dawn (Scott) Carlyle and Tayler (Jack) Lashbrook;
step-daughter, Alisha Guillen;
grandchildren, Lyla, Jaxon, Macy, Madeline, Gage and Gavin;
brothers and sister, Kelley (Mary) Lewis,
Donald (Tammy) Rokowski and Kimberly Rokowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel and grandmother, Violet Lewis.
