BODNAR, Lynne M. - Of Clio, age 67, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at MediLodge of Montrose.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, October 25, 2013
at St. Mary Queen of Angels Church, 4413 South Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Father Nate Sokol officiating.

Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Bodnar will be at the church 10am Friday until the time of the Mass.

Lynne was born in Flint on December 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Pepitone) Zachary and was a resident of Flint all of her life. On October 25, 1965, she married David J. Bodnar. Lynne was employed as a bus driver for the Clio Area Schools.

Surviving are husband, David Bodnar, Sr.;

children, Jennifer Yax, David, Jr. and wife Rungphet, Kristen Chappel and husband Dan, Jonathon Bodnar and wife Maggie;

grandchildren, Ryan Ostrander, Evan Yax, Abby Yax, Mackenzie, Hannah, Ellery and Olivia Bodnar, Sheridan Chappel and Mia and Trent Bodnar;

siblings, Nancy O'Hern, Michael Zachary and wife Yvonne and Matthew Zachary;

and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by niece, Rebecca Zachary.
