Passed away Sunday October 16, 2011 at his home, after a battle with cancer; age 54 years. Martin was born on October 30, 1956 in Flint, MI to Dixie French and the late Vernon French. He was married to Roseann Galvas on November 30, 1991, she survives him. Martin was employed by Delphi until his retirement. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and an active outdoorsman.
Surviving besides his wife Roseann are; 1 daughter, Karina Krivy of Clio, MI; 2 sons, Justin and Gabriel French of Birch Run; 1 grandson, Colton Boggs; his mother Dixie French of Clio, MI; 1 sister, Sherry Schearer of Hope, MI; 1 brother, Randy (Janet) French of New Lothrop, MI.
Martin was preceded in death by his father Vernon French in May 2010.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI; Fr. Robert Byrne will officiate with burial in Tuscola Township Cemetery. Martin’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth; 590 N. Franklin St. on Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. and at church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. There will be a Vigil Service on Wednesday at 7 P.M.
