Day, Norma Pearl of Flushing, age 82, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Flint. Pastor Kenneth Sharp will officiate. Burial will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
Norma was born on March 2, 1942, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Wallace and Nora (Kemp) Beasley. She married Norman Day on December 23, 1962, in Houston. Norma was a faithful member of her church communities. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always put her family first and whether near or far, her grandchildren always felt a special connection to her.
Norma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norman; children, Carissa and husband Bill Harris, Wayland and wife Michelle Day, Kevin and wife Jodie Day, Tracy and husband Billy Evans; grandchildren, Brittany Harris, Tyler Day, Cydney and husband Ethan Driskill, Alyssa Evans and husband Collin Chrenka, Mikayla Day, Caleb and wife Ashtynne Evans, Cameron Harris, Hayden Evans, Brayden Day, Wyatt Evans, Briar Day; great-grandchildren, Sauyer, Nico, Ada; and sister, Joyce and husband Jerry Flannery. She was preceded in death by her parents.
