MUCKENTHALER, Mary G. – Of Flint, age 88, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mary was born in Prescott, Michigan on January 17, 1930, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Anderson) Currie.
She married Ted Muckenthaler on February 24, 1948 in Prescott, Michigan.
She enjoyed working in her garden with flowers, crocheting, bowling, playing shuffle board and loved collecting angels.
Surviving are husband, Ted;
children, Mary Bindschatel, Perry and wife Sandra Muckenthaler;
5 grandchildren;
8 great-grandchildren;
7 great-great-grandchildren;
sister, Marilyn and husband Bob Vowels;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Currie and Chuck Muckenthaler and grandson, Todd Coyer.
