SEMARK, David Wallace - age 90, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, April 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Road, Fenton with Pastor James Mascow officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. David was born June 19, 1927 in Argentine Township, the son of Forest and Eleanor (Hoisington) Semark. He was a 1947 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and married Nathalie A. Brown on June 21, 1952 in Durand. David was a veteran of the Army National Guard for 20 years and retired from General Motors after 40 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Nathalie; three children, Cathy Louise Adams (Craig Coleman) of Swartz Creek, Mary Etta McAvoy of Swartz Creek, and Michael David Semark of Swartz Creek; three grandchildren, Wendy (Chris), Jennifer (Alan) and Robert (Krystal); ten great-grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Katlin, Ari, Zoe, Noah, Reggie, Kayleigh, C.J., and Allie; two nephews, Rick and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Marguerite. It's amazing how God works, David's mother died on the same date and place, 22 years ago at Fenton Extended Care and his funeral will be on the same day as hers 22 years ago as well.
