GLASSTETTER, Arthur Lee – of Burton, age 88, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Genesee Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Rev. Eric Anderson officiating. Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, 12 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Arthur was born in Flint, Michigan on September 4, 1928 the son of the late John and Leva Glasstetter. He was raised in Portageville, Missouri and later returned to the Flint area. Mr. Glasstetter retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab after 31 years of service. Surviving are: children, Glen Glasstetter, Lenny (Mabel) Glasstetter, Susie (Jerry) Smith, Danny Glasstetter, and Patty (Ken) Greer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie (Jean) Glasstetter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Glasstetter, Robert (Shelia) Glasstetter; sisters, Olivia Gammons, Rose Glasstetter, and Loretta; and sister-in-law, Mary Glasstetter. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, and by his brother, John, and by his daughter-in-law, Diane. Please share your condolences with the family at www.hillfh.com. |
