Edna "Kay" Lee, of Flushing, age 75, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Landings of Genesee Valley in Flint Township. Graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Rd Flint. Meet at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to travel in procession to the cemetery service. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 25 at Rossell Funeral Home, 307 E. Main St, Flushing. Kay was born in New Madrid, MO on February 23, 1945, the daughter of the late Dennis and Edna (Lindsey) Horton. On February 24, 1961, she married William David Lee and was married for 54 years until his passing. Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She loved caring for others, camping, baking, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family. Kay was a former member of Brent Creek United Methodist Church and regularly attended Monday afternoon gameday. Kay is survived by her children, Terri (Gary) Ijames, Donna (Brad) McKenna, Karen (J.D.) Riggs, Dana (Kevin) Harris; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Bramlett & Bonnie Jenkins; extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; William David Lee, her parents; son, Scott; brother, Dennis “Buddy” Horton; and brother-in-laws, Joe Bramlett and Donald Jenkins. |
