Passed away Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013 at his home. Age, 78 years.
He was born on November 6th, 1934 to the late Richard F. and Lucy (Confer) Krupp. He married Mary Lou Wendling on October 8th, 1960, she survives him.
Luie graduated from Flushing High School in 1954 as the class president, he then graduated from the Flint Institute of Barbering and also served his country in the US Navy. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, he was active in the SPRED program and served on the parish council. Luie was an avid MSU fan, enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and golfing but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving besides his wife Mary Lou, are his seven children; Luie II (Karen) Krupp of Chesaning, Dean (Beth) Krupp of Liberty, South Carolina, Mark (Janet) Krupp of New Lothrop, Kirt (Renee) Krupp of Chesaning, Dana (Terry) Dumond of Owosso, Sally (Jason) Williams of Freeland and Thede (Alisa) Krupp of Chesaning. Eighteen grandchildren and three great grand children and brothers and sisters; Leon (Elaine), Richard (Jackie), Lenore (Butch), Lana (Rich), Lauren, Lowell, Lyman (Ann) and Jean Krupp. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lloyd, a niece, Amy and sister in law, Mary.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Maple Grove. Fr. T.J. Fleming will officiate with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Friday from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm and at church on Saturday after 9:00 am. Fireman memorial service will be at 6:30 pm, scripture service at 7:00 pm and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:00 pm on Friday.
