JONES, Portia Jeanne (Shepherd) - age 90, of Mundy Twp., passed away December 22, 2019. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Thoughts and prayers in memory of Portia would be greatly appreciated.
Portia was born May 17, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of William and Portia (Pitts) Shepherd. She married Marion Jack Jones in Flint on January 29, 1949. She was employed at Genesee Bank. Portia enjoyed reading, swimming, and traveling.
Surviving are: daughters, Candy (George) Jones-Nitsos, Jill (Harold) Daniel; grandchildren, Jennifer (Damien) Lynn, Jeffrey (Jessica) McKinsey, Nick (Amanda) Nitsos, Roxy (Brian) Nitsos; great grandchildren, Maria Lynn, Mason Lynn, Emma McKinsey, Jack McKinsey; siblings, Keith Shepherd, and Kristy Stubbs.
