MARSHALL, Donald L. – of Clio, age 86, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Gross Assisted Living of Clio. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Full Military Honors to follow. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 2PM until 8PM and Saturday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Water & Woods Field Service Council - Boy Scouts of America or the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy - Upper Manistee Headwaters Preserve (Camp Tapico).
Don was born June 9, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harry and Thelma (Runge) Marshall. He graduated from Flint Central High School. Don married Beverly Harris on April 20, 1963. He later married Sherry Smith on January 24, 1986 in Clio. Mr. Marshall is a U.S. Army Veteran. Don retired from Kettering University with over 40 years of service. He was active with Boy Scout Troop 212 of Fenton and served on the executive board of the Tall Pine Council (BSA). Don enjoyed golfing, woodworking, traveling, building things, and tending to his home and yard.
