DAUP, William "Bill" Earl III - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, April 2, 2018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton. Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Bill was born March 25, 1943 in Flint, the son of William Earl Daup, Jr. and Alma Maxine (Brock) Daup. He was a 1962 graduate of Davison High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. Bill married Carol Kurtzweil August 16, 1974 and she preceded him in death February 1, 2018. He worked in the family business, Daup Signs in sales. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was also a scout master. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and woodworking.
Surviving are: sons, Joel Weyh of Burton, Ryan and wife Angela Daup of Grand Blanc, Scott Daup of Grand Blanc, and Corey and wife Misty Daup of Flint; 7 grandchildren, Alex, Brendan, Scott Jr., Makenna, Nicholas, Jacob, and Maverick; brothers, Gerald Daup of Genesee and Daniel and wife Jan Daup of Grand Blanc; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ray and wife Ruby Atkins of Davison.
