LAWRENCE, Shirley Marie - Of Waterford, age 74, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Crittenton Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice. Visitation 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Shirley Marie Lawrence was born on July 13, 1936 in Tyrone Township to Roy and Blanche Gates. She was a beloved Mother, wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and lived in Oakland County most of her life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Weston and wife Annette of Houghton, Michigan, Ron and fiancée Columba, Rick, Doug;
daughter, Sherry (Sis); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends.
