BATTLES, Evert – Of Mt. Morris, age 66, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his residence.
Visitation 11 a.m. and Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Joey Henry officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to cover funeral expenses.
Evert was born in Flint, Michigan on June 16, 1951, the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Bumgart) Battles.
On November 18, 1972 he married Cinda Knapp in Union Lake.
Surviving are wife, Cinda;
daughter, Jodi (James) Brinker;
grandchildren, Anthony Battles, Seth Brinker, Olivia Brinker, Kala Alexander, Michael Alexander, Hannah Alexander, Maddison Hill;
siblings, Leonard (Peggy) Battles,
James (Marilyn) Battles and Mary Wizner.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Alexander.
